Politics is really 
about helping people.


And what we learn at the University of San Francisco
is learning how to effect change from the community level,


from the local level, 
to the state level, all the way


to the federal government.


You know, a lot of people
have this preconceived notion


that you can only effect 
change from congress


or from the presidency.


The Politics Deparment 
and my academic journey


so far with them has
challenged that notion.


And we've learned that you can 
effect change wherever you are,


and you just need to 
understand the systems of power


and the inequalities that
exist, and that will help


You change the world from here.
