Hi, I'm Dave Wolber, chair of computer science, and today is the USF sustainability design competition. Which has students from all over the university trying to come up with solutions to make USF a more sustainable campus. Today while I'm judging these presentations, I'll be looking for innovation and creativity and also ensure that the projects can be continued long-term. But I'll be looking to see how focused they are in solving challenges. I look at things that are achievable and doable rather than large plans that never get done. I am part of the Great Greens group for today. Currently we're working on sustainability issues focused with food and water security. So aquaponics is just the incorporation of soilless gardening and the raising of fish. And you merge them together and they both provide a symbiotic relationship. So we've created a machine learning app that you just take a picture of any random object, and it'll tell you how to dispose of it properly. We are named Solar Vision, making students in the campus aware about USF solar installation. We're focusing on, for our first stage, education and outreach. Because if students don't know about programs, no matter how good they are, they won't be utilized. It's a missed opportunity, basically, and we are just going to capitalize on that. We can start this by creating service learning classes. As you guys know, we have to take service learning and cultural diversity. Come to school together and eliminate three other cars coming to campus whereas it's only one car. So our project today is focusing on the to-go containers in the cafe. So we are proposing today to create them into a reusable concept. Such an innovative solution to a real problem. And it's so simple. I'm saying with all honesty, this was one of the more solid, as a whole, presentations that I've been to in an awful long time. I was incredibly impressed. So I want to thank you because I think we've learned as much as you have today. Thank you, it's great to be back. Thank you, USF, we'll see you next year.
