My Chained Response This piece came from our history. He’s faceless because it’s not about him, per say. It’s about everybody that looks like him. You know what I’m saying? He’s me. He’s Sandra Bland. He’s George Floyd. I mean, he’s the person that we didn’t know who was lynched in Alabama that we didn’t find. He’s him too, you know what I mean? This race of people, it stands in front of the world after all that we had to endure and this race of people is just asking, “What have I done to deserve this? What have I done to deserve this?” This is a powerful piece. It’s one of my favorites.
