My name is Karan Lala I'm in the Professional Science Master's Program in Biotechnology, and I'll be graduating in spring of 2019. [MUSIC PLAYING] I came to the University of San Francisco in August, 2018, and it's really nice. Apart from the classes, the culture is really nice. The campus is really nice. The faculty is extremely inspiring. At the same time, I really appreciate the other students as well, because we work in a lot of group projects. And they're very like-minded people, very focused on their goals, which really helps. We had a lot of MBA courses in the first year, and we finished all of them. And in the second year, it's been a lot more academic focused. We've had bioinformatics, which involves a lot of coding. And we've had lab-based classes as well. The University of San Francisco has a really nice network of alumni, faculty, current students as well. And I've actually met the alumni repeatedly at numerous occasions, because the biotechnology world is actually kind of small. So you keep meeting these people at events, and it's a great way to learn about new internships and job opportunities, and everyone kind of stays connected and helps each other succeed.
