[MUSIC PLAYING] There's an incredible potential for this program to have a major impact in the world, and I don't think that's an overstatement. I think that we can help train and help build leaders who make real impact in many of the major themes and contemporary problems that the world faces today. I was attracted by the program at USF because it's multidisciplinary, and it has the perfect mixture between practice-oriented learning and theories. The international studies program offers a lot of diversity in their students and their faculty and in their class subject matter. In my cohort, I had nine people so it was great interaction one-on-one with the professors, as well as discussions between your classmates. The small class size is the foundation for the program. Lots of small group work within the class. Lots of peer reviewing and conversations between students. Studying international studies right now. Global issues right now in San Francisco, that is an amazing city. A diverse city. A very welcoming city. It's a unique advantage. It's a wonderful place to become a part of as a student at the University of San Francisco, and to engage with, to intern at different global organizations here that are based in San Francisco. Your skills are going to be needed because you've been taught a broad range of skills and talents that I don't think are given in other degrees. What we're trying to do here is we're trying to produce the forms of knowledge and the tools and techniques to change the world from here-- it's our motto, but it's really what we want to do as faculty members.
