[MUSIC PLAYING] I had been in the industry for a while I needed something that I could get in, fire hose of knowledge, and then leave and get back to work. You can build upon any one strength that you might have or learn new ones. Health and fitness is my passion, and I knew that this was one way to connect my math degree with that passion. The program itself provided just a suite of different tools, techniques, and just background. And I use all of it. There have been multiple projects I've been working on where they really go in different directions, And I have to draw on this knowledge that, hey, these tools exist, and I can use them. Location matters a whole lot and being able to set you up with the business connections immediately next door. You can throw a stone in the city and find a company desperate for a data science analyst. I came to the University of San Francisco for undergrad. That's why I went to USF in the first place, a really small class size and I knew that I would have that really interactive relationship with my professors. This was perfect. It was one year, it was crazy intense, which is exactly what I asked for, and it gave me the toolset to get back out there and get back to work. My name is Patrick Howell.
