[BEEP] The virus is like hitting a big pause button. Where as we have paused our usual activities, we're more aware of and grateful for what nature provides to us. We've forgotten that we are in, really, a beautiful intertwined dance of reciprocity. I think it's a profound change, an opportunity for much of humanity to reconnect and to change our mindset about how we fit in the world. Think about making a bigger change in the system. We're more grateful for that fresh air, that chance to go outside and walk. For this Earth Day, I invite our USF community to seek out opportunities to change the bigger system, to protect each other, and protect the planet. We are strong in community, and it is in mutual reciprocity that we all thrive. This is Stephanie Siehr, Professor of Energy and Environmental Programs at the University of San Francisco. We have a lot to gain from protecting our environment, as well as each other.
