One thing I have to mention is the helpfulness of the librarians, who supported me through every step of my grad school journey, even communicating through text message when I was really stuck. They really made a difference during my time with the program." Martin Rodriquez MA TESOL '16
The library staff is available to meet with students one-on-one or in small groups to assist with research. Faculty may schedule library instruction sessions for their classes where students learn how to use the library’s extensive resources and are introduced to research strategies, including how to evaluate their results. A wide selection of articles and electronic resources is available online through USF's Gleeson Library/Geshcke Center. The campus library houses a collection of books, periodicals, videos and DVDs. Our Document Delivery Service makes it easy for students and faculty to receive additional books and articles from USF and other libraries. For library hours and more information on our services, see the campus library page.
The Learning, Writing, and Speaking Center, located on the San Francisco campus, also provides tutors and writing professionals to support students academically. Students can work with tutors on a one-on-one basis or in groups on a wide range of subjects, including Statistics.
