Learn more about USF Parking Permits
Student Parking Permits
USF Students may enter the Student Parking Lottery for Full-Time and Part-Time parking permits. Winners will be provided with a link to the online parking program where they will be able to purchase and manage their permit and personal information.
The lottery is for parking during the following academic year. Students living on campus or within a 3 mile radius from the university are not eligible to apply for the lottery. 150 permits (full-time and part-time) are allocated through this process to commuter students only. Students with outstanding parking citations may not receive a parking permit and will be withdrawn from the lottery.
Outside of the lottery, students living off-campus, outside a 3-mile radius may purchase one of the following permits within the first three weeks of the semester: Evening, One Day, or Motorcycle. Daily permits are also available for purchase at the Main Gate in the Memorial Gym parking lot or at the Lone Mountain Campus Visitor Gate/Information Booth. Students with outstanding parking citations will not be eligible to purchase a parking permit until the citations are paid for and cleared.
The University issues disabled permits to those identified by needing special parking due to a medical necessity. This must be documented through the possession of a DMV Disabled Placard or Plates or Student Disability issued paperwork. A copy of the placard registration must be uploaded at the time of applying for a disabled permit online. To be placed on the priority list for the disability shuttle on weekdays, please contact Human Resources or Student Disability Services.
