Student Spotlight: Joaquin Razo '15, Karina Tvumenkova '17, and Amy Kuo '16
Three students talk about how the BSM program is helping them complete their degrees and advance their careers.
Designed for working professionals seeking to complete their bachelor’s degree, the University of San Francisco offers a Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM). Students learn to balance theory and practice to become effective managers within all sectors of organizational life.
The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program prepares RNs already holding an associate’s or bachelor’s degree to advance within the field by gaining experience to develop and manage patient care plans, and to advocate for best practices within the health care field.
At the completion of USF’s RN-MSN/CNL program, students complete an evidence-based practice quality improvement project. Our 2017 graduate projects include: reducing overuse of antibiotics, redesigning the triage process, and decreasing falls.
The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program focuses on curriculum. We engage in critical study of historical and current controversies that shape what is taught in classrooms today. Teachers learn to design curriculum that embodies their educational values and provides all students access to powerful learning opportunities.
