Combining classroom learning and clinical practice, undergraduate and graduate programs in the School of Nursing and Health Professions utilize a hands-on approach to nursing education.

Students have the opportunity to strengthen their clinical skills and evaluation techniques by using real-world resource tools.

Learn about some of our on-campus resources in nursing and health care education:

  • The Clinical Skills Lab, located in Cowell 108, is where nursing students practice their skills before the clinical setting.
  • The Simulation Center features state-of-the-art mannequins that nursing students experience patient simulations.
  • Preceptor Programs are offered at clinical sites throughout the Bay Area.
