Professor Nicole Nguyen calls it “the Ninja Project.”
In the first week of their capstone class this semester, 19 School of Management honors program students were given $50 in seed money and a task by Nguyen: Break into teams, start a venture, and make a profit — in one week. The team that sees the highest profit wins.

In December 2021, just two weeks after graduating from USF with a BSBA in marketing, Max Eunice ’21 landed a full-time job in marketing with Cruise, an autonomous car company based in San Francisco.
Growing up in Hawaii, Alex Min MSEI ’22 saw, touched, and tasted the ocean nearly every day. “My mom would take me to the beach to go fishing, and that was all I ever wanted to do,” he said.
