The usf.e.club hosted a great presentation from Cameron Walters, co-founder of Square, a mobile credit card reader that allows the user to accept payments virtually anywhere for a low flat fee.
To a crowd of over fifty students, Cameron told his story of receiving his Masters of Internet Technology from USF and how he was able to build a great network that helped open up doors to better opportunities in the area. Cameron was able to give a unique and helpful perspective to both business and computer science students.
In addition to guest speakers and company visits, the usf.e.club is launching a new idea-incubator called the usf.co.lab. The co.lab aims to bring together like-minded business, computer science, and environmental students to work together on innovative projects. You can connect with the e.club on Facebook or on Twitter.
