Faculty Information FAQs In alignment with our mission, the staff of the Learning & Writing Center works with USF faculty to help students achieve the goals set for the course.
We can provide peer tutors to assist students with the development of course-specific study strategies and greater understanding of course material. For historically challenging courses, we also offer Supplemental Instruction. Our staff can develop and facilitate workshops on course-specific topics and issues and is also available to offer additional individualized support for students.
Sample Syllabus Statement
& Writing Center provides assistance to all USF students in pursuit of
academic success. Peer tutors provide regular review and practice of course
materials in the subjects of Math, Science, Business, Economics, Nursing and
Languages. Other content areas can be made available by student request.

writing support provided by Rhetoric and Language Department instructors and academic
study skills support provided by Learning Center professional staff. For more
