You can import your references into your RefWorks account using one of the methods outlined below. More detailed directions for importing references from specific databases.
Direct Export from a Database
Many USF databases include a feature which allows you to export references directly into RefWorks. Look for the "Export" feature in the following databases:

Import Text Files
Some databases do not have a direct export feature, but will provide the option to download a text file formatted for RefWorks. The file can be saved to your computer and then imported into RefWorks. To import a text file into RefWorks, select "Import" from the "References" menu.
Manually Add References in RefWorks
You can create records in RefWorks by selecting "Add New" from the "References" menu.
Search within RefWorks
Some public databases (PubMed, Library of Congress, British Library, etc.) can be searched from within RefWorks, and then references can be imported directly from the search results list. To conduct a database search from within RefWorks, choose "Online catalog or database" from the "Search" menu.

For pages retrieved from library databases, use one of above methods and consult the directions for importing references from specific databases
