PubMed is a comprehensive biomedical database containing bibliographic information on millions of citations from thousands of journals. Follow this link for tips on using PubMed to find public health related resources.
Scopus is a multidisciplinary database that focuses on the scientific, technical, medical and social sciences fields. Scopus allows users to perform citation searching by displaying a hyperlinked list of an item's referenced articles, as well as a list of articles that have cited an item since its publication.
PsycINFO contains citations and abstracts from nearly 2000 publications in the field of psychology and the psychological aspects of related disciplines.
SocINDEX should be used by those seeking research in sociology and related sub-disciplines, including criminology and criminal justice, demography, ethnic and racial studies, gender studies, marriage and family, political sociology, religion, rural and urban sociology, social development, social psychology, social structure and social work.
ProQuest Congressional can be used to locate Congressional documents and perform legislative histories. It is also very useful for tracking legislation and major public policy issues, locating recent Congressional documents and related material in full text, and learning more about Congress and the legislative process.
Find U.S. Federal and state case law, codes, regulations, legal news, law reviews, and international legal information, in addition to full-text newspaper & journal articles on all topics, as well as business, legal, and medical information.

Find extensive information on toxicology, hazardous chemicals, environmental health, and toxic releases. Search individual databases such as ChemIDPlus, HSDB, TOXLINE, LactMed, and Household Products individually or as a group.
