Bio:
I was born in Mexico where I lived for the first three years of my life. My siblings and I immigrated to the US, outwardly assimilating to a foreign country but maintaining our Mexican culture at home. I grew up in California, mainly around the San Joaquin Valley. Fun fact, I attended 5 different elementary schools, three of which were in Tulare where we finally settled down. I got to attend only one Junior High and one High School… GO TULARE MUSTANGS. I packed my bags and moved away for college, HELLO BEAUTIFUL SAN FRANCISCO. Had the awesome opportunity to study abroad in Rome, Italy during the summer of 2006; where I hope to return some day. Long story short I graduated from USF May 2007 with a BA in Visual Arts, emphasis in Fine Arts and a minor in General Business. I've completed my MLIS on November 2016 from SJSU, with a focus on Cataloging, Metadata and Archiving.

Interests:
Traveling and exploring new places, Learning new languages, Drawing/Painting, Reading historical fiction and Existential Literature, Dancing, Running, Writing Poetry, and cultivating my green thumb.
