I have a B.A. in Liberal Studies, Humanities Emphasis, from San Francisco State University (1991) and a Master of Library and Information Studies with Archival Administration Concentration from UC Berkeley (1993).

I joined USF’s Gleeson Library | Geschke Center as a Librarian in 1998 after 5 years as Archivist for Buddhist Churches of America. While attending SFSU and UC Berkeley, I worked as a Library Assistant in the Periodicals Department at Gleeson Library from 1987-1993.
As Archivist, I work in the University Archives appraising, arranging and describing collection materials of historical significance pertaining to the University of San Francisco. I also provide access to USF’s archival collections for the university’s students, faculty, staff and alumni as well as independent researchers.
My Reference Librarian duties include classroom instruction in my primary liaison areas; research meetings with individual students; and reference desk public service.
