About me:
I grew up in Petaluma, CA. I have a B.A. in English from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, a Masters in English Literature from San Francisco State University, and a Masters of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.

While earning my B.A., I worked as a Student Assistant at Cal Poly’s Robert E. Kennedy Library. I also lived in Aix-en-Provence, France for a year during college, and spent three months traveling through New Zealand after I graduated from Cal Poly. Soon thereafter, I moved to San Francisco, and after two years of working in Human Resources at a large investment company in the financial district, I accepted a job at Gleeson Library.

Embedded librarianship, digital humanities, social media, library history and its intersections with artistic and literary movements: one of my favorite parts of my masters thesis project was reading about the 135th Street Branch of the NYPL during the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s.
