Design major Sarah Hamilton '20 landed a role as brand designer at Chronicle Books. Here's how.

An amateur designer who created flyers and posters for fun, Andre Canta '22 began his first year at USF as an undeclared member of the Honors College. Through a forum class in that program, he met a design professor who changed the trajectory of his college career.

Six members of the National Society of Black Engineers chapter at USF attended the 50th annual NSBE conference in Atlanta, Georgia, last month. Ivey Garcia ’25, internal vice president of the NSBE chapter, talks about the conference and why she’s majoring in computer science.

This February, a USF Law advocacy competition team took first place at the Western Regional Division of the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition. The International Trademark Association hosts the competition and this year’s case problem involved a trademark infringement dispute between two fictional candy companies.

On March 21, 2024, students, friends, and alumni joyfully convened for Day of the Dons, USF’s 24-hour day of fundraising dedicated to celebrating the boundless generosity and unity of the community. This year's theme, "Ripple Effect: One Gift, Many Waves," encapsulated the profound connection and transformative impact that philanthropy can have on the university’s community.
