USF School of Law hosted a CLE on cannabis law and networking reception on April 26 at USF's Downtown Campus. Joe Rogoway '05, founder and principal of Rogoway Law Group, presented on Article 16, San Francisco's cannabis ordinance.

After law school, Rogoway worked as a trial attorney at the Mendocino and Sonoma County Public Defender’s offices. His work there led to Rogoway’s organization of multiple California state ballot initiatives, beginning in 2010, to legalize the adult use of cannabis.

In 2011, Joe formed Rogoway Law Group as a firm dedicated to serving the cannabis industry. Over the last five years, Rogoway Law Group has grown to become an institution in the cannabis industry. Its internationally renowned team of legal experts are known for their advocacy work and unsurpassed understanding of cannabis law and policy.
