Advance Your Tax Career at USF
USF offers the premier option in Northern California to prepare for tax practice.
The programs are designed for working professionals. Expert faculty members—including USF's E.L. Wiegand Distinguished Professor in Tax Daniel Lathrope, who is academic director of the program, and Professor Joshua Rosenberg, author of leading treatises in tax law—empower lawyers, accountants, and financial professionals with a comprehensive understanding of tax law and policy.
Classes are conveniently located at USF’s Downtown Campus, and online courses are available. Both full- and part-time options are offered. Generous merit- and need-based financial aid packages are available.
“USF’s LLM in Taxation accelerated my desirability in the job market and helped me start a promising career in tax. Additionally, because the program was so small, I not only made lifelong career connections, but lifelong friends as well.”

“Networking is a special aspect of the USF graduate tax programs. Thanks to the connections I’ve made, I’ve been able to enlarge my firm’s business network, sign new clients, and enrich my tax knowledge to better serve my clients who need help with business visas and pre-immigration tax planning.”Marc Santamaria ‘15Legal Counsel, Inversion Consultant Services
