Lee Ryan Co-Director of the Library and Adjunct Professor of Law
Oversees research services and instructional programs, as well as collection development. Teaches International Advocacy and Research and Advanced Legal Research. Has taught Legal Research & Writing and California Legal Research.
Amy J. Wright Co-Director of the Library and Adjunct Professor of Law
Oversees general library operations, the library budget, and represents the law library on law school committees and with external constituencies. Teaches Advanced Legal Research.
John Shafer JD, MLIS, Research Librarian
Provides a full range of research assistance and participates in legal research training. Teaches Advanced California Legal Research.
Suzanne Mawhinney JD, MLIS, Research Librarian
Provides research services, legal research instruction, and faculty research support. Manages the library’s student research assistants program, which provides research support to faculty. Liaison to the law school’s advocacy and externship programs and clinics. Serves as the library's liaison to Westlaw, Lexis, and Bloomberg Law campus representatives and oversees Westlaw and Lexis Academic accounts. Teaches Taxation Research and Advanced California Legal Research.
Jodi Collova JD, MLIS, Research Librarian
Provides a full range of research assistance and participates in legal research training. Teaches Taxation Research.
MLIS, Head of Collection Services
Supervises cataloging, serials, acquisitions, binding, preservation, and the coordination of information technology to ensure that the library has the information resources that the law school needs, and that they are organized so that users may easily retrieve them.
MLIS, Head of Access Services & Research Librarian
Manages all circulation staff and activities, including inter-library loan, scheduling and supervision of student workers, the Special Access Card system, and the course reserve system. Also participates in providing research services, legal research instruction, and faculty research support.
Adelina (Ellen) Trice
BA, MA, Ed.D., Library Assistant for Circulation
Assists with management of Circulation functions, including course reserves and hiring and scheduling of student assistants. She also provides directional reference assistance.
BA, MFA/MA, MFA, Library Assistant for Circulation
Handles inter-library loans as well as book returns, fines, overdues, and holds. Performs group study room scheduling, searching for missing collection materials, tracking/reporting of library population counts, and other Circulation functions. Assists in supervising student staff at the Circulation Desk.
Library Assistant for Serials and Accounting
Checks in all serials, receives all books and periodicals, maintains the library accounts, processes invoices, and contacts publishers when there are problems with orders, receipts, or payments.
Library Assistant for Acquisitions
Monitors and replaces missing books, journals and supplements, prepares journals and periodicals for binding, searches new acquisitions recommended for the collection, supervises processing of new materials, prepares a monthly list of recent acquisitions, and provides troubleshooting assistance on the automated library system.
Library Assistant for Collection Maintenance
Manages looseleaf filing, processes materials for shelving, maintains stacks, and supervises student technical services workers. Assists with circulation desk staffing.
