Biography

Adjunct Professor Sandra Shapiro specializes in business and complex civil litigation. She clerked for the Honorable Raymond Peters of the California Supreme Court and was a partner with Bancroft, Avery and McAllister, where she headed a senior litigation group specializing in business and related litigation. She is currently a sole practitioner specializing in business litigation. She has served as a faculty member for the San Francisco Bar Association Trial Practice Clinic and the Hastings Advocacy Center; advisor for Moot Courts at Boalt Hall School of Law, UC Hastings College of the Law, and Golden Gate University Law School; and a litigation lecturer for the Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB). She authored the 1985 and 1986 supplements to CEB Civil Procedure During Trial. She received USF’s Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Member Award in 2004.
