Peter Harvey has practiced intellectual property law, with a focus on trademark and copyright law, in San Francisco for over 30 years. He has served on the board of the International Trademark Association (INTA), a 140-year old organization representing trademark owners worldwide, and as INTA’s counsel. He has taught Entertainment & Media Law as an adjunct professor at USF School of Law since 2001. He received USF’s Adjunct Professor of the Year Award in 2013. Annually since 2016, he has directed and taught in the law school’s externship program in European Intellectual Property Law, which hosts student externships in companies and law firms across Europe.
