Biography

Jeniffer Alcantara is the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) administrator and staff attorney for the San Francisco Superior Court. She first began mediating cases in 2001 as a volunteer for Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, a San Mateo County community mediation organization. Since then, Jeniffer has worked with a number of different ADR programs in both northern and southern California. She has mediated hundreds of disputes ranging from juvenile delinquency to civil litigation. Jeniffer has been an adjunct professor with the USF Mediation Clinic since 2008. She served a two-year term as a board member for the Association for Dispute Resolution of Northern California beginning in 2008. She has given a number of lectures and trainings on topics such as small claims mediation, mandatory settlement conference, mediating with self-represented litigants, mediation confidentiality, mediator ethics, and ADR program building. Jeniffer received her JD from Pepperdine University School of Law and her Masters in Dispute Resolution at the Straus Institute at Pepperdine.
