Adjunct Professor Donald Meyer joined the San Francisco office of Graham and James in 1971 after serving in the Peace Corps in Seoul, Korea. Meyer worked at Union Bank of California for 22 years, serving as executive vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary. In 2000, he was appointed commissioner of financial institutions for the state of California, a position held until 2004. He has held management positions with a commercial mortgage form and served as a chairman and director of two new California banks.
