Biography
Professor Sidwell joined the faculty of the University of San Francisco School of Law as the Director of Externship Programs and an Assistant Professor in 2019. Professor Sidwell oversees the judicial, civil, externship, tax, and summer international externship programs. As Director of the Externship Programs, Professor Sidwell teaches the classroom component, works with adjunct faculty, and oversees students, placements, and supervising attorneys.
Prior to coming to USF, Professor Sidwell represented survivors of domestic violence in family and immigration law matters at Bay Area Legal Aid and Legal Services of Northern Virginia. Professor Sidwell remains committed to domestic violence prevention and social justice.
