In addition to teaching at the University of San Francisco School of Law, Amit Pendyal also works as a legal fellow with Instituto Laboral De La Raza. Instituto is a community organization and nonprofit that primarily assists, low income, immigrant clients in fighting wage theft, recovering unpaid wages, and any resulting penalties provided under labor code. Before becoming a part of the legal field, Amit worked in finance, human resources, and public broadcasting. Amit is a member of American Constitution Society and conducts seminars on Constitutional Law for K-12 students across the Bay Area. Amit is also a storyteller at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco.
