Adam Hofmann is a partner with Hanson Bridgett LLP in San Francisco. Adam’s practice focuses on civil appeals and mandate proceedings. He represents cities, counties, and special districts in disputes regarding land use, revenue and finance (Prop 13/218/26), eminent domain, and election law. Adam is also actively involved in the League of California Cities and California Special Districts Association. He has represented the League as amicus curiae in cases before the California Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal. He has also been an editor of the California Municipal Law Handbook since 2011 and was a contributing author and editor of the League of California Cities’ 2017 Propositions 218 and 26 Implementation Guide.
