The Competitive Sport Clubs program is administered by the Recreational Sports Department and is intended to provide a competitive team structure within a recreational environment for current USF students.
This program provides social opportunities as well as development of specific athletic skills. For some clubs, competition with other collegiate teams is scheduled throughout the school year. Practice facilities are provided based on available space. All clubs have finished for the 2014-15 academic year. Practices will resume the first week of school in 2015-16.
Getting Involved: The best way to get involved is to show up to practice. We suggest arriving early so that you can introduce yourself to the coach and current members. All levels of experience are welcome. All club participants must register online and pay annual dues. For registration instructions please click here. Please see below for participation dues information. For more information contact Robert Azcarate-Bascherini.
Participation Dues: Dues are the annual cost to participate in a Sport Club at USF. Dues will not be prorated for participants that are joining late. The deadline to pay for participation dues is October 1, 2014. The Recreational Sports Department supports an open enrollment policy throughout the academic year. If you are joining after the October 1 deadline, please pay the participation dues within a two week period. To pay for participation dues please click here.
Faculty/Staff: Many of our clubs are open for participation, the exception being those with governing bodies that have age restrictions. If you are interested in participating in a USF Sport Club please contact Robert Azcarate-Bascherini, Sport Clubs Director.
