Bailey Warner

Bailey is a graduate of USF.  Her love for the water began when she started to compete in swim meets at the age of 7.  After a few years of swimming, she took a break when she moved to San Diego.  When high school began, she decided to take up her love of swimming once again by joining the water polo and swim team.  Her favorite swim strokes are butterfly and the individual medley.  Bailey has been lifeguarding for the past five years, has been teaching lessons for four years, and was also a coach for the Swim Team here at Koret.  She enjoys teaching children of all ages and levels.  She specializes in teaching intermediate swimmers stroke technique.

Blaze Kenyon

Blaze has been swimming since he was a baby. He loves the water- it is his sanctuary.  Not only this, but swimming has always been the avenue to love many other sports. He has always been a distance swimmer and could swim for hours!
From babies to adults, Blaze loves teaching all ages and abilities.  One of his favorite things to teach is the flip turn, since this teaches the breath to be in harmony with the stroke and the kick.  Teaching swimming and water dance/ aerobies helped voice movement and helping anyone to learn to swim is generally such a wonderful and rewarding experience.  Helping YOU and anyone willing to love the water has and will always be his greatest passion!

Melinda Flyash

She first started teaching classes at Bay Club at the Gateway in 2016 and has experience teaching all ages and levels including parent-tot classes and adults. Melinda believes the best way to teach swimming is by first creating a strong foundation with her students which is why you will see her asking questions about their daily lives! She loves to see her students achieve which is why she is so enthusiastic about the little things!

Kathleen McNamara

Kathleen has been swimming with USF Masters since August 2011. She swam competitively throughout her childhood and college, and then took a "break" that lasted about 30 years. One thing she loves about participating as an adult is the chance to learn more about the technical, physical and mental aspects of the sport. She was especially inspired after attending the Intensive Workshop in Walnut Creek (which she would recommend highly).  Ever since then, she has been looking for ways to learn more, and to take that knowledge and help other improve. This year she became a certified US Masters Coach, and have begun assisting Coach Val and Aquatic Director, Clare Rudd with the team. She looks forward to working with each of you toward achieving your swimming goals!

Sean Flynn

Sean has been swimming competitively since being introduced to the water at the age of 4. Having competed at age group; high school, college and master's levels, he has a unique depth of experience that is helpful to all skill levels. Never having lost his love of the water, he is an enthusiastic teacher who can help anyone and everyone improve their technique, training, and speed. Having an association with Korets since the late 90s, he understands the culture of the masters program which inspired him to get his master's coaching certifications in 2015. Starting to work with KYSC this past year has him furthering his coaching experience with a pursuit of age group swim coaching certification.
Sean prefers to work with all ages, but those who have a firm grasp of the basics of swimming and looking to become more comfortable in the water.  Ideally, looking more for pointers on improving their technique/stroke(s) and become stronger swimmers. Those youth swimmers looking to level up from current kysc team to next group and would benefit concentrated attention to those skills required are very welcome.
