Student technicians are available to video and audio record classes, academic or administrative events.
Please log in to USF Connect and access the "Room and Event Request" button from your USF Calendar tab. Complete the request form there if you would like to have a
video technician record your lecture or event.
After completing the online form, you will receive a reservation request confirmation
e-mail. When your reservation is staffed, you will receive a scheduling confirmation email. These are sent out the Friday prior to your scheduled recording.
At the time of your reservation, a student video technician will arrive from 5-30 minutes prior to the
recording, depending on the complexity of the event. After the recording has taken place, you will be notified
when the content has been posted to the streaming/iTunes U server or
burned to DVD. Please allow up to 48 hours for uploading and 3-7 business days for a single DVD.
Please be aware that the earlier you request recordings via the online request form, the better our ability will be to schedule your request. All reservations are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations must be made by the Thursday prior to the week of the recording request, but much earlier is recommended, when possible.
