Email

USF email is available to all students, faculty, staff and alumni. The USF email address is the official email address for university correspondence. Students enrolled since 2002 keep their USF email accounts as alumni. Alumni who graduated prior to 2002 may request an account.

USF e-mail may be accessed with your USFconnect username and password, on the web within USFconnect, using a desktop/laptop mail client or a mobile device. ITS supports  Apple Mail, Entourage, Outlook, and Thunderbird.

Student and Alumni Email

Student and Alumni e-mail is called DonsApps Mail (Students/Alumni) and is provided by Google with all of the features of Gmail, including 30 GB of storage (Shared with Drive).

Frequently asked questions and solutions are available in the USF Answers knowledge base, which is reached from USF Support. Search for 'donsapps' to see all of the content. Add another word such as 'outlook', 'iphone', or 'labels' to get  more specific results.

Targeted Group Email

USFconnect has group emailing capabilities for sending targeted messages to members of the USF community.  Please read the Internal Email Communications Standards to understand what type of messages are appropriate to send through USFconnect. 

Training

Faculty and staff may sign up for DonsApps training with the Center for Instruction and Technology (CIT).
