IEP Apply

 

Thank you for your interest in the Intensive English Program offered by the University of San Francisco. 

We offer two ways to complete your application, online or paper.  

Apply Online

  • Click here to apply using the Online Application.
  • For online applicants: To apply for the program online you will need to create an account and choose application type, "Intensive English Program" in the drop down menu at the bottom of the page. Once you create an account, we’ll provide a checklist of information required to submit your application online. Fill out as much as you can, and save your progress until it’s complete.
     IEP Application Fee and Courier Service
  • As part of your application, a non-refundable $100 fee is required to cover the application and courier service (FedEx) fees to mail the I-20 / acceptance letter.
  • When you apply online, you make a secure credit card payment at the same time.     

Apply with Paper Application

If you have slow Internet, or have an unreliable connection, you may use the paper application below.

Please DO NOT send cash. If outside the United States, use an International Bank Draft (through a major bank in the United States in U.S. Dollars), Credit Card* valid in the U.S. (Visa, MasterCard, Discover &     American  Express) or Money Order in U.S. dollars payable to: University of San Francisco. Please include your payment with your application.

 

All Applicants Must Submit the Following Items to iep@usfca.edu:

1. Passport Photo Page

  • Your name must appear on your Form I-20 exactly as it appears on your passport. You must submit a clear, full copy of your passport data page (face/photo page) before your immigration documents can be issued.

2. Certificate of Finance and Bank Statement

  1. Download the Certificate of Finance Form
    • All international students must submit a Certification of Finances showing that sufficient funds are available to pay for tuition and fees, housing and meals, health insurance, books, and personal expenses during their studies at USF before a Certificate of Visa Eligibility (Form I-20) can be issued. You, your parent, or sponsor must complete and sign the Certification of Finances Form.
  2. A bank letter or bank statement must be submitted to verify that the required amount of funding is available.
