Dr. Samuel Wan is a staff psychologist and clinical supervisor with the Substance Use and PTSD Clinic (SUPT) at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. He earned his PhD in Counseling Psychology from Boston College, and his BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.
He is the current Assistant Director of the Postdoctoral Fellowship Program at the SFVAMC, as well as Chair of the annual VA Psychology Leadership Conference, Chair of the Psychology Diversity Committee, Faculty Member of the Multicultural and Diversity Training Committee for the VA Psychology Training Council, Co-Chair of the Early Career Leadership Fellows Program of the Asian American Psychological Association, and Member-At-Large, Ethnic Minority Slate for APA Division 51 (Society for the Psychological Study of Men and Masculinity).
In 2012, Dr. Wan was honored with the James Besyner Early Career Award for Distinguished Contributions to VA Psychology, awarded by the Association of VA Psychologist Leaders.
