Biography
Robert Derbin brings a breadth of administrative and financial management experience from working in nonprofit university, government and museum settings. Having held leadership positions with the Berkeley Public Library System, UCSF Capital Projects & Facilities Management, and the UC Berkeley Natural History Museums, he has an extensive background in managing finances for nonprofits.
He has taught Introduction to Business and Business Law at Napa Valley College since 2011, and Business Law for USF’s School of Management in 2015. Professor Derbin is a member of the State Bar of California, American Bar Association and Court of International Trade. He is an active supporter of the arts, serving as a volunteer docent with SFMOMA since 1996 and di Rosa since 2016.
