Peter L. Arian

Peter Arian is a graduate of U.C. Hastings College of the Law, was admitted to the California Bar in 2005, and was named a State Bar Certified Specialist in the field of criminal law in 2013. Now in private practice, Mr. Arian previously worked as a deputy public defender for the County of Marin (2005-2012), and as a deputy federal public defender in both the trial and capital habeas units of the Federal Defender for the Central District of California (2012-2015). He has represented a wide variety of clients in all stages of criminal proceedings including Guantanamo Bay detainees, people accused of white collar and national security crimes, and death penalty eligible defendants in both state and federal courts.
