Biography

Mehul Rangwala has two decades of experience in information technology and quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Prior to transitioning to teaching as a full-time profession, he was an information technology manager at the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District. In this role, Mehul researched, planned, and provided insights to the executive management on technology strategy and the latest technology trends, while providing leadership in technology investments, cost/benefit analysis, asset management, technology operations, and support. His career has been largely in data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, information technology, and making important data-driven decisions using research, quantitative, and economic principles. Mehul has taught statistics and data analysis to undergraduate and graduate students for nearly 11 years.
