Biography

Kevin Hickey teaches Leading Social Change: Institutions and Policy in the Master of Nonprofit Administration program (School of Management), and the Nonprofits and Public Policy course in the Master of Public Affairs and Master of Urban Affairs programs (College of Arts and Sciences). He was recently appointed to the Advisory Board of the Master of Public Affairs program. Kevin is a recipient of a 2014 Distinguished Adjunct Faculty of the Year Award. His career is built around efforts to help low and moderate-income families achieve self-sufficiency. He serves as the Senior Manager of High School and Bridge Programs at Jewish Vocational Service and holds appointments at various public advisory councils. Kevin is active with Coleman Advocates for Children and Youth, and serves on the Board of Directors of Leap: Arts in Education. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University and a Master of Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco. Kevin is a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
