Biography

Currently Professor Emerita with San Francisco State University, Katherine Naff has taught a variety of courses including Democracy and Public Administration, Human Resources Management for Public and Nonprofit Organizations, Program Evaluation, Public Administration and the Law and Theories and Methods of Public Administration. She has authored or co-authored five books, nine book chapters and 24 articles in refereed journals. Prior to joining the faculty at SFSU, Dr. Naff served as a Senior Research Analyst with the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board in Washington DC and Personnel Analyst with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of La Raza Centro Legal, a nonprofit providing free and low cost legal services to low income seniors, workers and immigrants in the Mission District of San Francisco.
