Biography

Jayoung Myung is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Humanistic Management and Hospitality. She earned her Ph.D. in Management at the Rutgers Business School. She also holds an MS from Purdue University. Her research is in the area of organizational behavior, where she studies Workplace complaining, Voice, Workplace communication, Business ethics, and Cultural diversity. She is particularly interested in understanding the role of communication behavior and the impact of diversity in the workplace.

Her teaching is organized so that students have ample opportunity to learn and practice management skills that are deemed by scholars, business leaders, recruiters, and human resource professionals to be critical for success in today’s workplace.
