Biography
Isabel Houghton is a postdoctoral fellow at the Data Institute of USF. Prior to USF, she obtained a bachelor's degree in atmospheric science from UC Berkeley and a PhD in environmental engineering from Stanford University. She has conducted research in the field of fluid dynamics, specifically utilizing experiments to study the dynamics of collective swimmers, like zooplankton, and their impact on transport and mixing in the ocean.
