Dr. Davina Chan obtained her PhD in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. She teaches in the Psychology Department and in Theological & Religious Studies, as well as in the PsyD program in the School of Nursing and Health Professions. Her clinical and teaching interests include East Asian meditation practices, Asian American psychology, cognitive psychology, and biological psychology.
In addition to her teaching, Dr. Chan is a licensed clinical psychologist, practicing in San Francisco. She also serves as faculty in the Psychology Department at UC Berkeley and as a supervisory liaison to hospitals in the San Francisco Bay Area.
