Daniel Pearce holds an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University and a bachelor of arts in English literature from Bard College. In addition to teaching at USF, he has taught at Columbia University, University of California at Santa Cruz, and San Quentin State Prison. His research interests include the prison university and the intersections of human rights and rhetoric. He is also a drummer, and plays in several groups in the Bay Area.
