Biography

Daniel Bryant is a senior attorney with the Office of Chief Counsel for the IRS. As an attorney with the Office of Chief Counsel, he represents the IRS in cases before the United States Tax Court, serving as lead attorney for more than 10 trials. In addition, Daniel provides IRS employees with advice on a variety of corporate, partnership, and individual tax issues. Daniel also worked as a tax and estate planning associate at a large international law firm.

Daniel graduated with honors from UC Davis with a double major in economics and communication. He received his JD from UC Berkeley. While at Berkeley, he was a member of the California Law Review, serving as an executive editor. Daniel is an attorney and CPA (inactive status), licensed in California.

Alejandro is an Assistant Professor for Higher Education and Student Affairs in the Department of Leadership Studies at the University of San Francisco. He has over a decade of experience as a student affairs practitioner working on four different campuses across the country. He spent six years working in the University of San Francisco's Cultural Centers and served as one of the co-directors of the centers for two-and-a-half years. He also has ten years of experience as a social justice and equity consultant for higher education institutions like UC Berkeley, San Jose State University, Northwestern University and Stanford. Alejandro is also faculty for the Social Justice Training Institute (SJTI.org), which is a week long racial justice immersion for education and community leaders.
