Ari Banias is the author of Anybody (2016), a finalist for the PEN USA Literary award in poetry.

His work has appeared in American Poetry Review, Boston Review, Poetry, A Public Space, and in the anthology Troubling the Line: Trans and Genderqueer Poetry and Poetics.

He is the recipient of fellowships from Stanford University, the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown.

Reviews of his work have appeared in Fanzine, Kenyon Review, The San Francisco Chronicle, and elsewhere.
