PASJ Presents: Words of the Wise, "Open"

5:00PM - 7:30PM
Lone Mountain Main 148 - Studio Theatre

OPEN is a magic show without magic. A woman called The Magician seems to pantomime a myriad of tricks, but her act reveals she is attempting the impossible—to save the life of her lover, Jenny.  Impossible as it may seem, this Magician’s magic act may be our last hope against a world filled with intolerance and hate.

By Crystal Skillman, Directed by Ken Sonkin

Performing Arts and Social Justice is thrilled to present four contemporary works by some of the most influential female playwrights of today. This isn’t your traditional staged reading! There will be a little staging, a little design and a lot of fun. We are breaking the rules!

“Create dangerously, for people who read dangerously. ... Writing, knowing in part that no matter how trivial your words may seem, someday, somewhere, someone may risk his or her life to read them.” - Edwidge Danticat
