Join us for an exciting conversation with Dr. Lerone A. Martin and Dr. Clarence B. Jones, moderated by Rev. Dr. Ronné Wingate Sims, about Dr. Martin’s new book:  The Gospel of J. Edgar Hoover:  How the FBI Aided and Abetted the Rise of White Christian Nationalism (Princeton, 2023):  “The shocking untold story of how the FBI partnered with white evangelicals to champion a vision of America as a white Christian nation” -- and how the FBI abused its power in a systematic campaign to wiretap, malign, and harass Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Dr. Jones himself.
