Why USF?

Jesuit values and mission for social justice.

What has been the highlight of your program thus far?

Amazing faculty and having an open class discussion on real world topics and issues. USF stands a part from other universities because the teachers are passionate about teaching with a focus on social justice and the common good. You can’t find that anywhere else! Born and raised in San Francisco I am privileged to attend such a great university in my own city.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

First, I recommend attending the open house and reaching out to the program director to learn more about the program to ensure it is the right fit for you. Second, connect with the librarian right away! There are a ton of resources and databases through our library that will save you a lot of time on researching information.

Why USF?

I enjoy the social justice aspect USF offers and I really love the beautiful campus. Plus, you can find plenty of things to do after class in the city.

What has been the highlight of your program thus far?

Getting the opportunity to network with great classmates and professors. Also, we have great discussions in class that prepare you to think
critically about the issues that you may face as a future leader.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

Make connections with everyone around you. You aren't going to be in school forever so take the time to build your networks. Oh, and ask a lot of questions!

Why USF?

I chose USF to understand more about effectively and responsively leading an organization, and was excited to be able to implement what I am learning at my school site and support my school community.

What has been the highlight of your program thus far?

A cohort of people going through the same program to share questions and ideas with.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

Plan your work out during the quieter times of the year to be prepared for the busy times.
